Job Title: Nightshift Site Engineer - Highways
Location: M65 Junction 6
Contract Type: Temporary / Contract (Umbrella CIS accepted)
Rate: Circa £500 - £550 per shift
Duration: Two positions available: one for circa 8 weeks and one for circa 12 weeks, with potential for extension.
Job Description:
TRIbuild Solutions is currently recruiting Nightshift Site Engineer to provide engineering services on a major highways scheme at the M65 Junction 6. CIS is accepted, and payment is via umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- CAT scanning and associated utility avoidance checks
- Issuing permits
- Setting out drainage, kerbs, CKDs and gullies
- Marking up identified dig-down areas
- Preparing as-built documentation
- Producing progress reports
- Providing general engineering support to the site team, including but not limited to the above
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within highways or civils
- CAT scanning competence
- Valid CSCS card
- SSSTS
- Highways Passport
- Willingness and ability to work nights
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience on live highways or motorway junction schemes
- Strong setting out and as-built recording experience
