Site Engineer in London, Greater London

OCS are currently working with a £100m+ turnover RC Frame & Groundworks subcontractor who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with 3 experienced Site Engineers across London.
This is a great opportunity for Site Engineers who have a solid background in setting out on RC Frame/ Groundworks projects and are looking to join an established contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
 
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting the site team with all engineering and setting-out requirements, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Managers and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered accurately and to programme.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Setting out RC Frame and/or Groundworks packages
• Establishing and maintaining site control
• Checking drawings, specifications and levels
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records
• Quality checking works and ensuring they meet project requirements
• Working closely with Site Managers and the wider project team
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving engineering issues on site
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Minimum 2 years' Site Engineering / Setting Out experience
• Proven experience working on RC Frame and/or Groundworks projects
• An Engineering Degree
• Strong setting-out experience
• Good understanding of construction drawings, levels and specifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team
