Site Engineer in Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire

Orbitech Recruitment are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support our civil engineering client on a small highways scheme in Pocklington, being delivered for East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
This is a short-term requirement (2 - 2.5 months), so we're looking for someone who can come in, get stuck in and hit the ground running.
The role
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day engineering duties on site, including:
- Setting out roads, drainage and external works
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records
- Checking levels, line and quality of works
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Liaising with the site team and subcontractors
- Supporting the delivery of the scheme safely and to programme
What we're looking for
You’ll need previous Site Engineering experience within civil engineering, ideally with exposure to highways, roads and drainage schemes.
You should be confident setting out independently and comfortable working on a smaller project where you'll need to be hands-on.
Pay/ Hours
- £330 - £350 per day (higher rates if supplying own kit)
- CIS or Limited Company
- 10 hours standard shift - Mon to Fri
- End of October start
