Opportunity

Are you an experienced Site Engineer ready to take full ownership of technically demanding construction works on major residential developments in Liverpool? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established residential developer and contractor delivering large-scale, high-rise schemes across the city.

As Site Engineer, you will join a collaborative site team working on a live or forthcoming residential scheme. You will play an important role in maintaining engineering accuracy, construction quality and programme performance throughout the project.

The successful Site Engineer will be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and communicating with site managers, subcontractors, consultants and design teams. Your technical knowledge and attention to detail will help the project team deliver a high-quality development that makes a visible contribution to Liverpool’s skyline.

Responsibilities

As Site Engineer, you will take responsibility for setting out structural, external works and internal construction packages, ensuring all work is completed accurately and in accordance with approved drawings.

You will:

• Complete setting out using appropriate surveying equipment.
• Establish and maintain site control points and benchmarks.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Manage quality assurance records, inspections and handover documentation.
• Identify technical issues and work with the wider team to resolve them.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor work against agreed standards.
• Support progress reporting, short-term planning and programme delivery.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain high site standards.

The Site Engineer will ideally have experience working on reinforced concrete frame, high-rise residential or similarly complex construction projects. A relevant engineering or construction qualification would be beneficial, alongside practical experience using robotic total stations and digital setting-out equipment.
