Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established main contractor on a major commercial construction project in the London Bridge area.

This is a permanent opportunity working as part of an experienced site team on a technically challenging new-build scheme in Central London.

Responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and surveying works across the project
• Checking line, level and quality of subcontractor works
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records
• QA documentation and inspections
• Reviewing drawings and identifying technical issues
• Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors and the wider project team
• Supporting the delivery of works in accordance with programme
• Ensuring works comply with drawings and specifications

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on commercial construction projects
• Main contractor experience preferred
• Strong setting-out and surveying capability
• Good understanding of QA and construction drawings
• Relevant engineering/construction qualification
• CSCS
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary: Up to £70,000 plus package depending on experience.
