Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term scheme with a reputable contractor, delivering key elements of a high-profile highways programme.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works on site.
• Managing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Quality assurance and quality control checks.
• Producing as-built surveys and documentation.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and programme requirements.
• Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways, roads, or civil engineering projects.
• Competent in setting out using GPS and total station equipment.
• Strong understanding of QA procedures and site documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• CSCS Card essential.
• SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
