Site Engineer

Site Engineer required for a major highways project in Fareham.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a large-scale highways infrastructure scheme. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering £400–£450 per shift with a minimum 12-month programme and an immediate start on 6th July.

The successful Site Engineer will play a key role in the delivery of highway construction works, managing setting out, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination and technical engineering support across multiple work fronts.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways and civil engineering works
• Managing engineering control and site surveys
• Producing and maintaining QA documentation
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Managing as-built records and site documentation
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Supporting Site Managers and Project Managers with technical engineering issues
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways projects
• Strong setting out experience using GPS and Total Station equipment
• Experience delivering major infrastructure or civil engineering schemes
• Good understanding of QA processes and ITPs
• CSCS Card essential
• HND, Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple work areas
