The Role
As Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting out for culvert, drainage and associated highways works
- QA documentation, inspections and maintaining accurate site records
- Producing As-Built surveys
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Liaising with the Site Agent, subcontractors and client representatives
- Supporting daily site operations and resolving engineering issues
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or heavy civil engineering projects
- Experience with culverts, drainage, RC structures or similar infrastructure works
- Competent using Leica or Trimble surveying equipment
- CSCS Card (essential)
- SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Contract Details
- Location: Birmingham
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 Months
- Rate: £300–£400 per day (DOE)
