Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Crawley.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of works on a busy highways scheme, ensuring construction is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying for highways and civil engineering works
- Checking levels, line and grade
- Providing technical support to the Site Management team
- Completing QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
- Working from construction drawings and specifications
- Liaising with subcontractors and site management
- Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and programme
- Assisting with engineering and technical queries on site
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways/civil engineering projects
- Strong setting-out experience
- Competent with relevant surveying equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
- CSCS
- Strong communication and organisational skills
