Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Milton Keynes, with an immediate start available on Monday..

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for earthworks and associated civil engineering works.
• Supporting the Site Agent and project management team with day-to-day engineering requirements.
• Checking levels, line and grade.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Maintaining accurate site records and quality documentation.
• Working closely with subcontractors and site teams to ensure programme requirements are met.
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering schemes.
• Strong earthworks and setting-out experience.
• Competent with surveying equipment and relevant engineering software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Relevant engineering qualifications.
• CSCS / relevant site certification.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
