Site Engineer – Birmingham City Centre

Location: Birmingham City Centre
Project Duration: 12 months
Start Date: October 2026
Contract: Long-term project with a leading subcontractor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major 12-month construction project in Birmingham City Centre, working for an established subcontractor.

The successful candidate will have strong UK-based reinforced concrete (RC) frame experience and a proven track record working on major construction projects.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' UK construction experience as a Site Engineer
• Strong reinforced concrete (RC) frame experience is essential
• Experience working for a subcontractor is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction setting out and engineering principles
• Proficient with relevant surveying and setting-out equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong understanding of QA, ITPs and site documentation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with site teams and project management
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the project team with engineering and setting-out duties across the RC frame works, ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and in accordance with project specifications and drawings.

This is a 12-month opportunity in Birmingham City Centre, with an October 2026 start.
