My client is a leading construction contractor currently recruiting a Site Engineer for a 6–8 month contract in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Site Engineer Responsibilities
- Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager and Site Foreman.
- Assisting with site set-up and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Carrying out setting-out duties as required.
- Monitoring quality assurance and quality control throughout the project.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Maintaining accurate site records and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures.
Site Engineer Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable but not essential.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent time-served experience.
- Previous experience in a construction site environment.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site procedures.
