Site Engineer in Manchester, Greater Manchester

Role: Site Civil Engineer
Location: North West
Job Type: 6 Months Contract Initially
Rate: £400/day

Morson Vital have a great opportunity for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to support the delivery of rail and civil engineering projects. This role will focus on setting out, surveying and quality assurance, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
🔺 Carry out setting out and site surveys to ensure accurate construction delivery.
🔺 Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection records and quality documentation.
🔺 Produce and update as-built drawings and survey records.
🔺 Undertake quality checks, identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
🔺 Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and designers to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:
🔺 Proven experience as a Site Civil Engineer within rail or civil engineering projects.
🔺 Strong setting out and surveying experience using total stations, GPS and levelling equipment.
🔺 Experience with ITPs, as-built records and quality assurance processes.
🔺 Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
🔺 Relevant civil engineering qualification and a strong understanding of site safety requirements.
