Site Manager at Advance Grid Solutions, Bellshill

Advance Grid Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and High Voltage (HV) construction projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, commercial, and health & safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on BESS and HV infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, company procedures, and health & safety legislation.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and programme performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Manage contractual obligations and support commercial performance.
• Produce accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues where required.

Essential Requirements

• Proven Site Management experience on HV, BESS, utilities, power, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction project management and site delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of NEC contracts and commercial project controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• SMSTS
• CSCS Manager Card
• First Aid at Work
• HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Experience working under NEC and/or FIDIC contracts
