Construction Site Manager – Hospital Project

Location: North London – Hampstead / Camden area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Duration: Ongoing
Day Rate: £350 – £400 per day

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager for an ongoing position on a live hospital construction project in North London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of works, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating subcontractors
• Overseeing daily construction activities
• Attending progress and client meetings
• Liaising directly with the client and wider project team
• Ensuring health & safety and site compliance
• Coordinating works within a live hospital environment
• Managing site documentation and reporting
• Monitoring programme and quality of works

Requirements:

• Valid SMSTS
• Strong knowledge of building and construction
• Previous Site Manager / Construction Manager experience
• Previous hospital, healthcare or live environment experience
• Good understanding of NHS processes and procedures
• Strong subcontractor management experience
• Confident and professional in a client-facing role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Work phone and laptop will be supplied.

This is an ongoing freelance position, working 5 days per week.
