Site Manager in City of Westminster, Greater London

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast track refurbishment project in Mayfair. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering exceptional standards on a prime residential/commercial refurbishment within one of London's most exclusive locations.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating all site activities from start to completion.
• Supervising subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining quality control throughout all stages of the project.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Managing site logistics within a constrained central London environment.
• Monitoring programme performance and reporting progress to senior management.
• Conducting site meetings and maintaining project documentation.
• Driving a high-end finish in line with client expectations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience managing refurbishment projects as a Site Manager.
• Experience delivering high-specification residential, commercial or heritage refurbishments.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within occupied or live environments.
• Sound understanding of construction sequencing, quality management and site logistics.

Essential Qualifications

• SMSTS
• CSCS Black or Gold Card
• First Aid at Work
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Experience working on refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of listed buildings and heritage refurbishments.
• Temporary Works awareness.
• Fire Safety and Building Regulations understanding.
