As specialists in fencing and vegetation management, we are used to working with leading civil engineering contractors, highway authorities and rail networks. We have also been providing a comprehensive range of vegetation management services and solutions for over 20 years. In recent years, we have introduced a dedicated ecology department and are now able to provide a complete package for ecological and vegetation management that enhances our capability to provide an efficient holistic service.

The Role:

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in managing specialist sub-contractors and complex logistics? We are seeking a dynamic and safety-focused Site Manager to oversee the delivery of critical fencing and security infrastructure packages across the HS2 project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Coordinate, supervise, and drive the performance of dedicated fencing installation teams and sub-contractors.
• Logistics & Materials: Oversee the, tracking, storage, and distribution of all fencing materials and site resources.
• Delivery Coordination: Manage just-in-time delivery schedules to minimize site disruption and align with strict project timelines.
• HSEQ Compliance: Enforce the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance, ensuring zero-harm on-site and adherence to HS2 major project standards.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client, attending regular progress meetings and managing expectations effectively.
• Provide input into Inspection & Test Plans.
• Assist in planning and programming site activities to meet client deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on major UK infrastructure or civil engineering projects (HS2 experience is highly advantageous).
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial fencing systems, perimeter security, and associated groundworks.
• Valid SSSTS/SMSTS, Gold Card CSCS and First Aid certifications.
• Exceptional communication skills with a track record of successful client-facing liaison.
• Robust understanding of strict Tier 1 HSEQ regulations and compliance frameworks.
