You'll manage works from mobilisation and planning through to completion, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery with minimal disruption to live operations.
This role covers refurbishment, fit-out, asset replacement and energy-related works, with responsibility for subcontractors, programmes, site compliance and stakeholder coordination.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you'll:
- Manage day-to-day delivery of M&E and building services projects.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and associated building services works.
- Plan and sequence activities to minimise disruption within live healthcare environments.
- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site teams against programme and specification.
- Monitor project progress and take action to address delays and delivery risks.
- Complete site inspections covering workmanship, materials, quality and compliance.
- Manage RAMS, permits, health and safety requirements and site documentation.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, consultants and operational teams.
- Support progress reporting, variations, cost information and technical issue resolution.
To be successful as the Site Manager, you'll have:
- Proven site management experience across M&E or building services projects.
- Experience delivering projects within healthcare or other live environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.
- Experience delivering fit-out, refurbishment or asset replacement works.
- Strong subcontractor, supplier and multi-trade coordination experience.
- Good knowledge of RAMS, permits, health and safety and site compliance.
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Wiltshire.
- £350–£400 per day.
- Six-month contract.
