Job Description

Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a large earthworks project in Leicester.

The successful Site Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating plant and labour, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining programme deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all earthworks operations on site.

• Manage subcontractors, plant operators and site teams.

• Coordinate bulk excavations, cut and fill operations and ground preparation.

• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.

• Maintain high standards of health and safety.

• Monitor site progress and report to the Project Manager.

• Ensure quality standards and programme targets are achieved.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on earthworks projects.

• Strong background in civil engineering and bulk earthworks.

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

• Experience managing heavy plant and earthmoving operations.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage site operations independently.
