Rate: £400-£500 per day (CIS Payments)
Location: Bournemouth / Mannington
Working Pattern: Site based - Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in streetworks, utilities or cable route projects? We are looking for a Site Manager to support the delivery of a major cable route project in the Bournemouth area.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of works on site, coordinating site teams and subcontractors and ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.

Working closely with the wider project team, you will oversee streetworks and civils activities, manage RAMS, permits and site documentation, and maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout delivery.

Previous substation experience is not required for this position. We are looking for someone with strong Site Management experience and a good understanding of streetworks, utilities or cable route delivery.

Job Role

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of cable route works
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and associated works
• Managing streetworks activities and ensuring compliance with NRSWA requirements
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with programme
• Managing RAMS, permits, site documentation and daily briefings
• Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety
• Liaising with the wider project team and reporting on progress
• Managing works across projects in the Bournemouth / Mannington area

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Manager / Construction Manager
• Strong streetworks / utilities / cable route experience
• NRSWA Supervisor accreditation (Units 10-16) - essential
• SMSTS - essential
• First Aid - essential
• CSCS - essential
• Temporary Works Coordinator would be advantageous
• Previous cable route experience would be highly advantageous
