A hands‑on Site Manager is required for a major residential development, overseeing plots, roads, sewers and day‑to‑day site delivery on a long‑term programme. The ideal candidate brings the right balance of residential build experience and groundworks understanding, ensuring plots are built from the ground up safely, efficiently and to programme.
This role suits someone who has managed new‑build housing sites, understands plots, and can confidently coordinate trades and engineers. Experience with roads & sewers is a bonus (Phase 2), but not essential.
Key Responsibilities

Plot Management — Oversee all plot works from the groundworks side, ensuring quality, safety and programme alignment.

Groundworks Coordination — Work closely with civils teams to manage foundations, drainage, levels, service trenches and external works.

Programme Delivery — Maintain site progress, identify risks early, and implement recovery actions where required.

Trade Supervision — Lead daily briefings, allocate labour, resolve issues and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Health & Safety Compliance — Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and safe systems of work are followed at all times.

Stakeholder Communication — Liaise with the client team (Cameron Hall), engineers and senior management, providing clear updates and reporting.
Candidate Profile

Strong residential build background – must have delivered new‑build housing sites.

Solid understanding of groundworks and plot progression.

Experience with roads & sewers beneficial but not essential.

Able to manage trades, civils teams and subcontractors confidently.

Organised, proactive, and able to maintain programme on a busy site.

Looking for a stable, long‑term project.

Open to perm, CIS, or PAYE engagements.
