Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager specialised in high-end new build developments to oversee day-to-day on-site operations and ensure the successful delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, practical site experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders on-site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects within a dynamic construction environment, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Duties

- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient execution of works.
- Coordinate daily site operations, including subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Liaise closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment.
- Monitor site progress against the project schedule and report on any delays or issues.
- Enforce strict health and safety regulations on-site, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Oversee material deliveries, storage, and usage to avoid delays and wastage.
- Support procurement processes and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure effective communication across all site teams to optimise productivity.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale, high-end residential or commercial construction projects.
- Strong background in managing on-site construction activities and subcontractors.
- Experience working with general contractors and understanding of material procurement and pricing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints; knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Primavera P6 and Civil 3D is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
