Site Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering projects across a long-term water framework in the North East. This permanent role offers the chance to manage essential infrastructure works within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Duties will include coordinating site teams and subcontractors, maintaining programme delivery, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and overseeing quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering.

• Experience delivering water or utilities infrastructure projects, ideally within a framework environment.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management procedures.

• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.

• Relevant industry qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS, with First Aid certification desirable.
