Site Manager

A requirement for a Site Manager working on a social housing refurbishment scheme in Sunderland, overseeing installation of works in occupied housing. This job will be for holiday cover for approximately 3 weeks. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project programmes and quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and report to the Contracts Manager.
• Liaise professionally with residents, clients, and stakeholders, minimising disruption.
• Ensure materials, plant, and labour are effectively managed.
• Complete site documentation, including RAMS, daily diaries, and quality inspections.
• Support project delivery to achieve client KPIs and contractual requirements.

Experience required:

• Previous experience managing social housing refurbishment or planned maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of refurbishment works, including warmer Homes, retrofit, decarbonisation, or energy efficiency projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant qualifications such as CSCS/SMSTS/FA

Remuneration:

• £28.00 per hour
