Site Manager

Requirement for an experienced Site Manager to join a main contractor taking responsibility for the successful delivery of a social housing external refurbishment programme down in Teesside, which for the right candidate could offer stability and long term work.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage day-to-day site operations and site teams
• Coordinate subcontractors and directly employed operatives
• Plan labour, materials, deliveries and site activities
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
• Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality standards
• Carry out regular site inspections and toolbox talks
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, health & safety and company procedures
• Liaise professionally with residents, client representatives and other stakeholders
• Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and documentation
• Identify and resolve problems before they impact programme or quality
• Support commercial and operational teams with project reporting
• Ensure sites are kept clean, safe and properly managed at all times

Experience required:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing or refurbishment
• Strong knowledge of external refurbishment and planned maintenance works
• Experience managing subcontractors and site operatives
• A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and RAMS
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• Experience working within occupied residential properties
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Scaffold Inspection are essential 

Remuneration:

• £30.00 per hour
