Freelance Site Manager Required - Weybridge

Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Start Date: 21st September
Duration: 7 Weeks
Rate: Competitive Day Rate - 7.30am - 4.30pm 
Project: Large Distribution Centre
Contractor: Tier 1 Main Contractor

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major refurbishment project on a large distribution centre in Weybridge. Working on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate several painting teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management of painting and decorating works.
• Managing multiple subcontractor painting teams.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and site procedures.
• Monitoring programme and productivity to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
• Maintaining quality control and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
• Coordinating with the client, contractors and other trades on site.
• Completing site records, RAMS reviews and permit processes where required.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects.
• Valid SMSTS certification.
• Valid CSCS Managers Card (Black Card).
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Strong health & safety knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and finishing trades.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to start on 21st September and commit for the full 7-week duration.
