Site Manager

Site Engineer- Lusk

The CSR Group are working with a contractor who is seeking a Site Manager to join their team on an active project in Lusk, North Dublin. The project involves an internal fit-out at a food production plant, including framing, retaining walls and structural works.

The client is keen to speak with experienced Site Managers who have a strong background in civils and engineering. The project is likely to extend beyond January, with further projects to follow.

Package

• €70,000–€80,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress safely and in line with the programme.
• Oversee the delivery of internal fit-out, framing, retaining walls and structural works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant and material deliveries.
• Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and comply with drawings and specifications.
• Plan upcoming activities and manage resources to maintain progress.
• Work closely with the project team to resolve technical queries and site issues.
• Carry out site inspections, monitor workmanship and oversee snagging.
• Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
• Lead site health and safety, ensuring procedures are followed by all personnel.
• Liaise with the client, consultants and subcontractors throughout the works.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager on civil, structural or commercial construction projects.
• A strong background in civils and engineering.
• Experience with internal fit-out, framing and retaining walls would be advantageous.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day site activities.
• Strong knowledge of site health and safety requirements.
• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage programme deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to site management.

This is a site-based position in Lusk, North Dublin, on a project already underway. The works are likely to continue beyond January, with follow-on projects offering the opportunity for continued work.
