Nottingham City Centre | £1m+ Design & Build Office Project

North20 Recruitment is working with a well-established specialist commercial fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a £1m+ Design & Build office fit-out project in Nottingham city centre.

This is an opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of commercial office projects and regular requirements for high-calibre Site Managers across the UK.

We're looking for someone with a proven track record delivering fast-paced Design & Build office fit-out projects, who can demonstrate successful project delivery through references and previous project experience.

Rates: £280+ depending upon experience

The Role

You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, within quality standards, and to client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all site operations from start to completion
• Ensuring the highest standards of health & safety are maintained
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors and trades on site
• Monitoring progress against programme and driving performance
• Maintaining quality throughout all phases of the project
• Liaising with project teams, design teams, clients and senior stakeholders
• Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact programme delivery
• Delivering a professional and organised site environment

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering Design & Build commercial office fit-out projects
• Experience managing projects valued at £1m+
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to motivate site teams and subcontractors to achieve programme targets
• Strong attention to detail and high finishing standards
• Able to build relationships with everyone from labourers and subcontractors through to directors and end clients
