Our client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to provide additional support across a programme of retrofit and refurbishment works in the Grimsby area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of residential refurbishment projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard.
The Role
- Oversee retrofit and planned refurbishment works
- Manage directly employed trades and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and on programme
- Maintain Health & Safety standards and site documentation
- Complete site inductions for staff, subcontractors and visitors
- Coordinate labour, materials and site resources
- Hold regular site meetings and plan upcoming works
- Ensure environmental and waste management procedures are followed
- Maintain high standards of site presentation
- Liaise with the Project Manager, site teams and residents
- Ensure works meet required specifications and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven Site Management experience within construction or refurbishment
- Retrofit and/or planned works experience
- Knowledge of air source heat pumps, PV and ventilation
- Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- Scaffold Inspection
- Asbestos Awareness
- NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent industry experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Previous experience delivering works within social housing, occupied properties or voids would be particularly beneficial.
This is a temporary position running until the end of September, with mileage paid.
