Role Overview
We are looking for a Site Manager to join our team on the Northumbrian Water Framework, delivering projects across clean and wastewater treatment sites.
Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities, working with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Mechanical, Electrical and Civil site installation schemes across water and wastewater treatment sites.
- Lead daily site operations to ensure compliance with SHE legislation, contractual timescales and specifications.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings.
- Ensure accurate documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments and testing records.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and in-house teams to coordinate delivery and logistics.
- Monitor site costs, contribute to progress reports and attend project meetings.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability and collaboration.
Requirements:
- You will have experience in the water and/or waste water sectors, ideally gained on active construction sites.
- An industry-relevant ONC / City & Guilds / NVQ qualification.
- Site-based experience in infrastructure / water-related projects.
- SMSTS, IOSH or CITB 5-Day Site Safety certification.
- A relevant CSCS card, First Aid training and EUSR accreditation.
- Organised and professional approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Passion for quality, safety and customer service.
