Site Manager – Groundworks

Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire
Rate: Negotiable DOE
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6–8 Months minimum + Further Work

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join an established groundworks contractor on a groundworks package in the Pontefract area.

The project is initially 6–8 months, with further work already secured in the local area for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day groundworks activities.

  • Coordinate site teams, labour and subcontractors.

  • Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.

  • Monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.

  • Liaise with engineers and the wider project team.

Requirements

  • Previous Site Manager experience within groundworks.

  • Strong groundworks background.

  • SMSTS.

  • CSCS.

  • Good communication and leadership skills.
