Site Manager Required in London and Essex
GVR Solutions are currently working alongside a well-established main contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join them on projects across London and Essex.
As a main contractor they are based in Essex and they specialise in construction and fit-out projects across the Education, Healthcare, Residential, Retail and Commercial sectors.
Duties of the Site Manager:
- Assist other Managers to ensure smooth construction sequences
- Maintain and oversee various trade packages
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure works are completed to programme and quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project
The Site Manager must have/be:
- Proven experience delivering refurbishment, extension, new build and renovation projects
- Strong background working for a main contractor
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Site Management
- Ability to oversee day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
- Strong health & safety awareness and site compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work
- Experience working across commercial, residential, or public sector projects
