Site Manager Required in London and Essex

GVR Solutions are currently working alongside a well-established main contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join them on projects across London and Essex.

As a main contractor they are based in Essex and they specialise in construction and fit-out projects across the Education, Healthcare, Residential, Retail and Commercial sectors.

Duties of the Site Manager:

  • Assist other Managers to ensure smooth construction sequences
  • Maintain and oversee various trade packages 
  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure works are completed to programme and quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project

The Site Manager must have/be:

  • Proven experience delivering refurbishment, extension, new build and renovation projects
  • Strong background working for a main contractor
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Site Management
  • Ability to oversee day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
  • Strong health & safety awareness and site compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work
  • Experience working across commercial, residential, or public sector projects
