Site Manager Housing

Orchard Recruitment Solutions are working alongside a national house builder to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential housing development in Sunderland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join an established contractor on a long-term residential development, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the site.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development from a site management perspective, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
• Managing programmes and ensuring works remain on schedule
• Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks
• Liaising with the client, subcontractors and other site management
• Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics
• Ensuring plots are delivered to the required quality standards
• Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
• Driving the project forward and ensuring key deadlines are achieved

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within new build housing
• Strong knowledge of residential construction
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
