Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to work on a £2 million social housing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contract based in Milton Keynes.
This is a long term Site Manager role overseeing a high-volume planned maintenance programme, delivering kitchen and bathroom replacements in occupied social housing properties.
The successful Site Manager will manage subcontractors, control programme delivery, and ensure all works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of a social housing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contract

Managing subcontractors including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers and decorators

Delivering a programme opening up 8 kitchens per week

Working within occupied social housing properties

Ensuring health & safety compliance across all site activities

Managing RAMS, permits, site documentation and reporting

Coordinating labour, materials and site logistics

Maintaining programme, quality control and snagging

Managing resident liaison and customer care

Reporting progress to Project Managers and clients

Ensuring works meet client, contract and compliance standards

Essential Experience
-
Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing
-
Minimum 4+ years’ experience delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
-
Strong background in planned maintenance or refurbishment
-
Experience managing subcontractors and multi-trade teams
-
Experience working in occupied properties
-
Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality control
-
Excellent organisation, leadership and communication skills
-
Full UK Driving Licence
-
Own transport (essential – van and fuel supplied)
Key Duties
Ensuring quality works to agreed standards
Coordinating labour and trades
Monitoring and supporting the kitchen & bathroom programme
Controlling material levels
Working closely with the Project RLO and site team
Required Certifications
SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS
