Site Manager

Dover | £55,000–£65,000 + Bonus | Tier 1 Contractor

I’m working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a major civils project in Dover.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for a well-established contractor with a strong project pipeline, excellent standards and genuine opportunities to progress.

You’ll take ownership of a package of works on site, leading teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The role

• Manage site teams and the successful delivery of civil engineering works
• Oversee concrete and demolition packages
• Plan, programme and resource works effectively
• Drive a strong Health & Safety culture across your area of responsibility
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct delivery teams and site activities
• Monitor progress, quality and productivity
• Work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery
• Identify and resolve issues proactively, keeping works on track

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects
• Strong track record leading and delivering civil engineering site teams
• Relevant CSCS card
• SMSTS
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance
• Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator
• Crane Appointed Person
• HSG47 / Underground Services experience
• Strong programming and planning experience
• Experience managing a direct delivery workforce
• First Aid
