Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to run a fast-track shop fit-out in Soho, managing the project on site through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management and coordination of all subcontractors and trades.
• Drive the programme and ensure key dates and final handover are achieved.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and access within a constrained Central London location.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, including inductions, RAMS and toolbox talks.
• Monitor quality and manage progressive snagging throughout the works.
• Coordinate M&E, joinery, finishes and specialist retail installations.
• Identify and resolve design, sequencing and site issues quickly.
• Maintain site records, progress reporting and photographs.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, design team and client.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.

Requirements:

• Strong track record delivering fast-track retail / commercial fit-outs.
• Confident managing multiple trades against tight programmes.
• Good understanding of M&E coordination and high-quality finishes.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of the site.
• Central London fit-out experience preferred.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid required.
