Our client is recruiting a permanent Site Manager to work on interior fit out projects across the UK. The company is an interior fit out contractor who specialise in projects in the industrial and commercial sectors. They’re based near Chesterfield and have an excellent reputation. The companies core business is storage solution projects including racking, shelving and mezzanine floors, but they also work on full interior fit out projects and they are currently recruiting a site manager for these full interior fit outs particularly on industrial units, warehouses and distribution centre projects
The Role:
- This is a site-based role, reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
- Liaising professionally with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers at all levels to ensure projects are managed efficiently.
- Understanding and implementing of project programmes independently and/or alongside Contract Managers.
- Managing day to day sub-contract works to ensure these are undertaken safely, as per scope, programme and contract terms.
- Completion, compliance and control of site paperwork including filing of documentation
- Site / client facing meetings as necessary.
- Being aware of project programme dates, sub-contractors engaged to undertake the works, variations to works and completion dates.
Experience Required
- 5+ year’s experience within a Site Management position on interior fit out projects.
- CSCS
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Asbestos Awareness
- Good IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills, incorporating a professional and authoritative management style with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively as necessary.
