Main Contractor

Location: St Paul’s, Central London
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Package
Start: ASAP

We are working with an established main contractor to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join a £16m commercial CAT B fit-out project in St Paul’s, Central London.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors and wider project team to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with strong commercial CAT B fit-out experience to join a well-established contractor on a high-value Central London project.

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to maintain programme progress
• Monitor quality and ensure works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the project
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials and plant
• Monitor progress against the programme and proactively address any issues
• Liaise with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and client team
• Carry out regular inspections, snagging and quality checks through to completion
• Maintain accurate site records, documentation and reporting
• Support the wider project team in achieving successful project delivery

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
• Strong background in commercial CAT B fit-out
• Experience delivering projects valued at £10m+
• Previous experience working on high-value projects in Central London is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of commercial fit-out processes, programming and site logistics
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders effectively

Desirable:

• Relevant construction qualification
• Temporary Works experience
