Site Manager wanted for CAT A Commercial Fit-Out project in central London EC3
Contract: Freelance / Temporary
Duration: Until mid-November 2026
Working Pattern: Thursday to Monday

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a CAT A commercial fit-out project in Central London, for one of opur specialist Fit-out contracting clients.

The project is currently live and is scheduled to run until mid-November. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Manager with a strong commercial fit-out background who can take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the works and ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the project, overseeing subcontractors and trades and ensuring works are completed in accordance with the programme, drawings and specifications.

You will manage health and safety on site, conduct inductions and toolbox talks, review RAMS and ensure all contractors are working in accordance with the required safe systems of work.

The role will involve coordinating subcontractors and labour, monitoring progress against programme, managing site logistics and deliveries and working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team to identify and resolve any issues affecting delivery.

You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of workmanship, undertaking quality inspections, managing snagging and ensuring the site remains clean, organised and professionally managed throughout the project.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have previous Site Management experience delivering commercial fit-out projects, with relevant CAT A experience essential.

You should be confident managing multiple trades and subcontractors within a fast-paced commercial fit-out environment and have a strong understanding of programme management, health and safety, quality control and site coordination.

Candidates must hold current SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Temporary Works Supervisor or Temporary Works Coordinator, Asbestos Awareness and Fire Warden qualifications or certification.

Working Pattern

The position will operate on a Thursday to Monday shift pattern, meaning Saturday and Sunday will form part of the standard working week.

Candidates must therefore be fully available to work weekends throughout the assignment.

The project is expected to run until approximately mid-November 2026.
