Groundworks Site Manager – Cambridge
Location: Cambridge
Contract: 18 Months
Start: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee groundworks packages on a large residential development in Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a brand-new project from the outset, with an 18-month contract offering long-term continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day groundworks operations on site
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
- Monitoring quality standards and site productivity
- Liaising with the client, project team, and contractors
- Maintaining site records and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing groundworks packages on residential developments
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to drive programme and manage subcontractors effectively
