My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a water treatment scheme in Blackpool, with an immediate start available. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a strong water and civils background.
The role will involve 12-hour shifts, and candidates must be comfortable working weekends.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Stakeholder liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Ordering materials
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Overseeing works on the water treatment site
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Overseeing quality control, inspections and site records
- Reporting progress to the Project Manager
Site Manager Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SMSTS
- Previous experience managing water treatment or water infrastructure projects
- Strong civil engineering background
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Must be flexible to work weekends
- Good understanding of health and safety and quality requirements
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
