My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a major HS2 scheme in Brackley, with an immediate start available. The role will focus on drainage and structures, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a strong heavy civils background.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Stakeholder liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Ordering materials
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Managing the delivery of drainage and structural works
- Overseeing reinforced concrete and associated civils works
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Overseeing quality control, inspections and as-built records
- Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and reporting
Site Manager Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SMSTS
- Previous experience managing major infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects
- Experience delivering drainage and structures is essential
- Previous HS2 experience would be advantageous
- Strong civils background
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
