The Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing specialist contractor delivering façade, cladding, EWI, recladding, refurbishment and remediation projects across London.

The role will initially be based on a project in London, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification and to the required quality standards.

Working closely with the Project Manager, commercial team and subcontractors, you will coordinate site activities, manage labour and trades, monitor progress and maintain strong health, safety and quality standards throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of façade, cladding, EWI, recladding and refurbishment works
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades, labour and site activities
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to specification
• Monitoring progress against the construction programme and reporting to the Project Manager
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance
• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant building regulations
• Managing quality inspections, snagging and remedial works
• Identifying and resolving site issues to minimise delays to programme
• Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics
• Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders
• Supporting the Project Manager with programme planning and project delivery
• Ensuring subcontractor performance meets required standards
• Overseeing works through to completion, snagging and handover

Requirements

• Proven Site Manager experience within façade, cladding, EWI or external envelope construction
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, recladding, EWI and/or remediation works
• Experience delivering projects within occupied residential, refurbishment or similar environments advantageous
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and programmes
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and project teams
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Relevant construction qualifications advantageous
