Site Manager

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Site Manager to oversee the final stages of an exciting £8 million leisure centre development in Shipston-on-Stour.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the project during the crucial finishing phase, taking responsibility for delivering a high-quality internal fit out across a modern leisure facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, and to an exceptional standard.

The Role

As Internal Site Manager, you will take ownership of all internal finishing works, managing multiple subcontractors and ensuring each package is delivered in line with programme and quality expectations.

The project includes a wide range of internal construction activities including partitions, ceilings, M&E coordination, flooring, decorations, joinery, tiling, sanitaryware installation, internal glazing, fixtures and fittings, final snagging, commissioning support, and handover preparation.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will ensure the smooth coordination of trades while maintaining excellent health and safety standards throughout the finishing stages.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all internal finishing works from first fix through to practical completion.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across multiple internal work packages.

Monitor programme progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.

Carry out regular quality inspections and manage snagging activities.

Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.

Coordinate with M&E contractors to ensure seamless integration of services.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Manage daily site activities, inductions, toolbox talks, and permit systems.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Support commissioning, testing, final inspections, and project handover.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Internal Site Manager on commercial, leisure, education, healthcare, or public sector projects.

Strong background managing high-quality internal fit out and finishing packages.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Ability to drive programme while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors within fast-paced construction environments.

A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
