Site Manager in Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a small works refurbishment and fit-out project at a DWP Job Centre in Trowbridge.

The role will involve managing the day-to-day construction activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring the works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily running of the construction site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Oversee refurbishment, fit-out and small works packages.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Monitor programme, quality and site progress.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client and wider project team.
• Complete site records, inspections and relevant documentation.
• Manage snagging and handover through to completion.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, fit-out or small works projects.
• SMSTS – essential.
• CSCS – essential.
• First Aid – essential.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good subcontractor and programme management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
