Site Manager in Bristol, Gloucestershire

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 16-week fit out project in Bristol, conveniently located close to the hospital.

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong main contractor and fit out background, who is confident managing subcontractors, coordinating trades and ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.

• Coordinate subcontractors and site trades.

• Manage the fit out programme and daily site activities.

• Ensure works are completed to the required quality standards.

• Review drawings, specifications and RAMS.

• Monitor health and safety across the project.

• Manage deliveries, site logistics and materials.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, client and subcontractors.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure snagging is managed through to completion.

• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

• Attend progress and coordination meetings where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit out projects.

• Main contractor background preferred.

• SMSTS – essential.

• CSCS – essential.

• First Aid – essential.

• Strong understanding of construction health and safety.

• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work to programme and manage project deadlines.
