Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Package (DOE)

An established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join a major 1,000-bed student accommodation development in E16, London.

The project is currently at the demolition stage and will progress into a large-scale internal fit-out programme. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a flagship project from the early stages through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades throughout the fit-out phase.
• Maintain site health & safety, quality and compliance.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and resolve any site issues.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, clients and the wider project team.
• Ensure all site documentation and reporting is completed accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale fit-out or residential projects.
• Experience managing multi-storey developments or student accommodation schemes is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates are essential.
• Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and site logistics effectively.
