Site Manager

TeacherActive are working with a fantastic Alternative provision in the Nottingham area who are looking for a site manager to join them on a temp to perm full time basis.

5 days per week, 40 weeks per year. 8:30-4:30 (including unpaid break of 30 minutes)

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the environment of the provision is always safe and secure. You would be responsible for the day-to-day management of the buildings and grounds as well as all facilities.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Reporting all hazards
• Maintaining and testing all systems 
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and any issues on site
• Ensuring all inspections, certifications, and records are up to date
• Contribute to business continuity planning
• Maintain accurate logs, permits, testing records, risk assessments, and site manuals.

In order to be considered for this role you must:

• Have experience in premises management, caretaking, or facilities operations.
• Have strong understanding of health & safety legislation, including COSHH, fire safety, and risk assessments.
• Have the ability to carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and site improvements.
• Have the knowledge of security systems, alarms, and emergency procedures.
• Have a First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
