Freelance Site Manager - Pub Refurbishments

Location: West Midlands (Ideally based)
Rate: £250-£300 per day
Contract: Freelance

The Opportunity

I'm working with a well-established fit out and refurbishment contractor who has secured a strong pipeline of live pub refurbishment projects across the Midlands. They're looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Site Manager who has a proven track record delivering hospitality fit out projects.

This role is specifically suited to Site Managers with pub, bar, restaurant or wider hospitality refurbishment experience. Candidates from this background will be highly desirable due to the fast-paced nature of the projects and the challenges of working within live trading environments.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing pub refurbishment projects from start to finish, ensuring programmes are met, subcontractors are managed effectively and projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.

Duties include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
• Delivering projects to programme and budget
• Managing health & safety on site
• Liaising with Contracts Managers and clients
• Quality inspections and snagging
• Organising deliveries and site logistics
• Maintaining site records and progress reports
• Working within live and occupied hospitality environments where required

About You

• To be considered, you must have previous experience managing hospitality fit out projects.
• A strong fit out/refurbishment background
• Experience delivering fast-track programmes
• Excellent subcontractor management skills
• Strong communication and organisational ability
• The ability to work under pressure and drive programmes
• Be based within the West Midlands or within a reasonable commuting distance

Essential Requirements

• Proven Site Management experience on hospitality fit out projects
• Experience working on pub refurbishments is highly desirable
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
• Full UK Driving Licence
