Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in cut & carve, structural alterations or demolition? Looking to join a specialist subcontractor with a strong reputation and a healthy pipeline of work across London?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor who delivers complex demolition, temporary works, structural alterations and fit out packages for many of the capital's leading main contractors. With several new projects secured and more due to start over the coming months, they're looking to strengthen their delivery team with an experienced Site Manager.
This is a long-term opportunity to join a growing business that offers genuine career progression and exposure to technically challenging projects.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and specialist trades.
- Coordinating demolition, temporary works, structural alterations and fit out activities.
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site.
- Managing site logistics, programme and quality.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Chairing site meetings and providing regular progress updates.
- Ensuring all site documentation is completed accurately and on time.
About You
- Proven experience managing cut & carve, demolition, temporary works or structural alteration projects.
- Previous experience working for a specialist subcontractor is highly desirable.
- Candidates from an engineering background with site management experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and temporary works procedures.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
